Privacy Policy

WayThrough is operated by getmAIde LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) incorporated in Virginia. Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@getmaide.com.

WayThrough's eligibility engine runs entirely in your browser — your ZIP code, income, household size, and other intake information are processed locally using JavaScript. This data is never sent to WayThrough servers during normal use. Nothing about your intake is logged, stored, or transmitted to getmAIde.

Your intake data may be saved to your browser's local vault (localStorage or, if you use WayThrough Drive, an encrypted USB drive). This storage is entirely under your control. Clearing your browser data removes it.

WayThrough can send you a benefits summary as an email attachment. This feature is entirely optional. If you choose email delivery:

• Your email address and your program eligibility results are sent to our server to generate and send the email
• The data is processed transiently — it is not stored in a database and is not logged
• Email delivery is handled by Resend

If you prefer your data to never reach our server, choose Downloadinstead — PDFs are built and returned in the same response, fully local.

WayThrough uses Microsoft Clarity for behavioral analytics and heatmaps. Clarity collects anonymized interaction data (clicks, scrolls, session replays) to help us improve the product. Clarity masks form fields by default — intake values you type are not visible in session recordings.

Clarity sets cookies and sends data to Microsoft. To opt out, use a browser extension that blocks analytics scripts (e.g., uBlock Origin) or disable JavaScript for clarity.ms. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

• Your name, government ID, or Social Security number
• Your income, household composition, or immigration status (these stay in your browser)
• A history of which programs you searched for
• Any data linked to a user account (WayThrough has no accounts)
• Any data from minors — WayThrough is for users 13 and older

WayThrough Drive is an optional feature that stores your context and exit packets on an encrypted USB drive rather than in browser storage. Drive data is encrypted client-side before being written. getmAIde never has access to Drive contents — the encryption key exists only on your device.

We do not sell, rent, or trade any data to any third party. We do not use your intake information for advertising, targeting, or profiling. We do not share your information with government agencies, benefit program administrators, or immigration authorities.

WayThrough is served over HTTPS. The zero-knowledge design means the most sensitive data — your income, household, and circumstances — never leaves your device under normal conditions. If you encounter a security concern, please report it to security@getmaide.com.

WayThrough is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of WayThrough after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
